Return policy
 
Our Policy in a Nutshell:
We offer a 365-day return & exchange policy on all new (unused) skates, parts, and accessories in the original packaging. The only exception is if it is a custom skate order (where we specially made a skate for you).

The Return Policy Details:
We want you to be happy with your purchase, however, there may be cases where you will need to return your skates (or other merchandise) for a refund. We offer this return policy only on new and unused skates, parts, and accessories in our store. For this reason, it is highly recommended that you try your skates on indoors on a smooth carpeted surface to ensure proper fit before using them. This will preserve the condition of the items should you choose to return them. Also, it is recommended that your preserve the box in it's original condition.

There is a 10% restocking fee on all returned merchandise.  However, we will waive the restocking fee if you purchase another set of skates (it doesn't have to be the original skates). Some custom built skates will also be subject to a dismount fee. Complete custom built skates (where we specially make the skate for you) are not eligible for return. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer in all directions, even if your original order shipped free. Of course, if we made a shipping error we will correct our mistake and cover all shipping charges. 

If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will replace or repair the item for you and will cover the shipping charges.  Returns are easy when shopping with RollerSkateNation.com!

Exchange policy

The Exchange Policy Details:
We understand that there may be situations in which you will need to exchange your skate (or other merchandise) for a different size or a different skate. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and will make the exchange process as efficient as possible. We offer this exchange policy on new and unused skates, parts, and accessories in our store. For this reason, it is highly recommended that you try your skates on indoors on a smooth carpeted surface to ensure proper fit before using them. This will preserve the condition of the items should you choose to return them. Also, it is recommended that your preserve the box in it's original condition.

Some custom built skates will be subject to a dismount fee.  Complete custom built skates are not eligible for an exchange. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer in all directions, even if your original order shipped free.  Of course, if we made a shipping error we will correct our mistake cover all shipping charges.

Warranties
  The majority of our skates are covered by a 30-day manufacturers warranty and, in many cases, a 1 year warranty. We also have a few manufacturers that cover their products for life.  If you feel you have a warranty claim, we may ask you to send us a picture or ship the item back for inspection.  Once the product is determined to be defective, the item will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.

Return or exchange your order
 

To return or exchange your order please follow the instructions below.

RETURNS
Step 1: Simply send us an email to returns@rollerskatenation.com with your order number and/or name so that we can send you further instructions.

Step 2: We will send you a form to print out and put in the box to mail back to us. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer in all directions.

Step 3: Once we receive the merchandise allow 15-30 days to see the refund (less restocking and shipping fees) on your credit card or PayPal account.

EXCHANGES
In order to get you skating as soon as possible we have found that the fastest & most preferred way is for the customer to return the skates to us and immediately order the correct pair of skates in a new order. That way you will get your correct skates in a timely manner. If this poses a problem then just contact us and we will make other arrangements for you.

Step 3: Go ahead and place your new order on our website for your desired exchange item and then allow 15-30 days to see the refund (less shipping fees) on your credit card or PayPal account.
