The QUBE Ceramic bearings use ceramic ball technology. This means that the ceramic material can handle much more heat than conventional steel which is what many bearings are made of. They are also greased bearings, this means there is less maintenance for you than you would need with the traditional oiled bearings. Then the QUBE team made it even better, by using 8 balls instead of the traditional 7, so that the bearing is even stronger. These bearings are available in both 7 or 8mm so all skaters are covered! The most common cause of bearing failures is impact shock, with ceramic bearings you do not need to worry about that since they are stronger than steel.
